A Founder’s Promise

The Heart Behind NO CHILD HUNGRY

NO CHILD HUNGRY was created by our founder Leon Tonian in honor of his little brother, who lost his life to hunger in the 1960s in Armenia. Heartbroken but determined, he vowed that no other child should suffer the same fate.

What began as a personal promise has grown into an organized, 501(c)3-approved non-profit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children in need. Today, he continues to honor his brother’s memory by matching every donation 1-to-1, turning individual kindness into twice the impact for hungry children.
